Mending Hearts in a Mental Health Crisis

  • Waterfront Church 1010 New Jersey Avenue Southeast Washington, DC, 20003 United States (map)

This one-day training will walk you through FCA's E3 discipleship training (engage, equip and empower) in the context of today's mental health crisis.

The three main sessions will feature teaching and activation in topics such as listening and empathy, anxiety, trauma, LGBTQ, suicide prevention and inner-healing prayer. We will unpack the current situation we are facing as disciple-makers in the church today and leave empowered to carry the light and love of Jesus.

Each registration includes the training sessions as well as snacks, lunch, and E3 Playbook (FCA discipleship workbook).

You will come away from this day with practical mental health training, a strategy to implement discipleship in your own life and new (or deeper) friendships.

Material and facilitation brought to you by Jolee Paden from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Washington, DC) and Ryan Miller from Share the Struggle.

Registration Cost: $25 donation
