CAM Wagner Camp Partnership Program
This summer, students from across DC will apply for a scholarship to attend the Regional FCA Sports Camp in Harrisonburg, VA on June 23-27, 2024. Each student who applies must complete an application, a zoom interview with our DC Camp Coordinator, complete their registration process and attend the pre-camp meeting.
We are looking for 50 groups to partner with us by giving $600 and committing to pray weekly for your camper(s) in the 8 weeks leading up to camp (starting May 1), while at camp and the 4 weeks after camp. This is a great way to unify your group and get connected to a specific need in the DC community.
What kind of group? Your church small group, community group, house church, accountability group, family members, friend group, co-workers… whatever group YOU would like to gather to pray and give.
Who is CAM Wagner? CAM formerly served as the Board Chair for the Washington, D.C. FCA Leadership Board. On December 22, 2013, he passed away from a rare blood cancer, Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm. CAM had a passion to send kids to camp. This initiative honors him and his family as we work to continue his legacy in the FCA DC community.

Options for collecting donations from your group:
You can collect donations via cash, check and/or venmo, and then make one donation via myFCA on behalf of your group (suggested).
Individuals in your group can make donations directly to the FCA DC Scholarship Fund (if they are interested in the tax-deductible receipt).
All donations should be submitted by May 31.
Upon submission of this form, the FCA DC team will follow up with you to include the name of your camper, the school they attend, the sport they play and any specific prayer requests.
FAQ:
What if our group raises more than $600, but not quite $1,200 for 2 campers? Surplus funds will be used to provide sheets, towels, toiletries and supplement transportation costs.
Do we have to be local to partner? Nope! You can pray and give from anywhere.
Do I need a whole group to join me or can I partner individually? You can partner individually, but we would encourage you to find a group to commit to praying with you regularly for your camper.
What if we don’t hit the $600 mark? We are grateful for any donation your group is able to make on behalf of our kids. No matter what… please pray for them!
