All In FCA Huddle Speaker Guide

Every second saturday, 3:30-5:30pm - at the DC Dream Center

• Looking for speakers to share approx. 5-8 minutes
• Speakers must agree with FCA's Statement of Faith and complete an MLA (Ministry Leader Application)
• Topic: Characteristics of Christ
• Audience can be anywhere from 5-15  athletes (all athletes have intellectual disabilities) and a handful of volunteers.
• Format of Huddle:
• Welcome and Warm-up
• Basketball ( 60 minutes)
• Speaker: (5-8 minutes)
• Introduce who you are
• Share a key scripture that will be central to your message
• Two options for sharing:
• Share your story of faith and a Characteristic of Christ that was vital in your story
• Teach about someone in the Bible, why you might relate to them, but ultimately how God reveals himself through this person in the scripture and also… a Characteristic of Christ that stands out to you through that story
• Wrap-up: Small Group Discussion (10-20 min)
• Send 3-5 questions that unpack more of what you shared about during your message? These should encourage athletes to get in the Word (read the scripture again) and/or see how the message could apply to their own life.
• Dinner!
